Description
The Realme GT 2 Pro is the latest high-end smartphone from Realme and it is part of their GT series. The other models in this series are the Realme GT 2 and the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. It comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×3216 (WQHD+) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz for smooth visuals and a peak brightness of up to 1400 cd/m². The 5000000:1 contrast ratio and HDR10+ support guarantee sharp and vivid images. The display also has a usable surface area of 88.2%. The device is also designed with an aluminum alloy and polycarbonate body and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added protection. It weighs approximately 199 grams and is available in two different color options- forged lack and titanium blue.
When it comes to performance, the Realme GT 2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4nm) processor which is combined with 8GB or 12GB RAM and either 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage options(UFS Storage 3.1). The AnTuTu (v9) score is 965817 and the device is also equipped with a fingerprint display for enhanced security. It also features a diamond ice core cooling system plus that includes a 36761mm² super flat heat dissipation area.
In the camera department, there is a triple rear camera setup that includes a standard Sony IMX766 50.0Mpx lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a Samsung S5KJN1 50.0Mpx wide-angle lens, and a GalaxyCore GC02M1 2.0Mpx macro lens with an f/3.0 aperture. It also supports optical image stabilization (OIS), 4K and 8K video recording, and a 6P lens field of view of 84.4°. For selfies, there is a Sony IMX615 32.0Mpx lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a front camera field of view of 80.6°.
In terms of connectivity, the Realme GT 2 Pro offers Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), and GPS (L1+L5). It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
In conclusion, the Realme GT 2 Pro is an impressive high-end device that offers powerful hardware, a great camera, and a long-lasting battery. However, it lacks wireless charging and is quite expensive compared to other devices in the same segment.
